green prize festival 2015

In celebration of Earth Day, Green Education Inc., presents the second annual Green Prize Festival! A FREE, All-Ages event. The Green Prize Festival celebrates urban farmers, green technology, and sustainability-minded nonprofits through arts, education, live music, and artisanal food! This is a rotating event that highlights a different Long Beach public park each year. This year, we’re at Cesar Chavez Park (401 Golden Ave.) which features the first ADA accessible public garden, “The Children’s Gateway Garden”, in Long Beach.

Squeeze Art Collective curated the Art Portion of the Green Prize Festival with their exclusive show "Found."  Squeeze also designed the Main Stage, constructing 12' high teepees all made from found and up-cycled materials.
